WHY IS THE LIT SAFETY VEST BETTER THAN OTHER SAFETY VESTS?
Similar ” looking” vests with blue or red 5 volt fiber optic strips available have been tested and provide no additional difference discerning the person from the vehicle. These vests provide more flashing red and blue lights that ultimately just blend in to the cruiser LEDs. LIT LED strips are the brightest available and nothing else comes close or solves the problem.
IS IT WATERPROOF?
Yes. It has silicone jacketed led strips and waterproof connectors. It has been field tested.
IS THE VEST EASILY ACCESSIBLE ?
The vest comes in a convenient storage bag which hangs on the passenger headrest for quick deployment.
WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE?
Currently sizes m thru xxxl are available.
HOW LONG WILL THE BATTERY LAST?
The battery was selected after trying many options. The 12 v lithium battery can sit for months without losing a charge. It will last 12 hours at 50% brightness. The battery is conveniently located in the left inner chest pocket. A touch dimmer is located on the left upper chest area. This allows the user to quickly dim or brighten the LEDs depending on the situation or clickly tap to turn on or off.
WHAT IS THE WARRANTY?
1 year on Led harness, battery and dimmer switch. If the vest itself becomes damaged you can send it back and have the internal working parts transferred to a new vest for a reduced price.
HOW DO WE CHARGE THE BATTERY?
The battery comes with a wall charger and a car charger. When charging place the switch in the on position and charge until all green led indicators are lit. Approximately 1.5 hours if fully discharged. Additional batteries are available for purchase and can be stored in the storage bag.
